Established in Los Angeles, ZeroPoint mk is a dynamic and forward-thinking film production company founded by Kenan Baysal and Mehmet Gungoren. Our mission is to tell compelling, authentic stories that resonate with audiences globally. We believe in the power of cinema to evoke emotions, spark conversation, and promote understanding. Our Founders

​

Kenan Baysal is an award-winning creative producer recognized for his impactful storytelling. His debut feature, Sweet Thing, directed by Alexandre Rockwell, premiered at the 70th Berlin International Film Festival and won the prestigious Crystal Bear for Best Film in the Generation Kplus category. As a Tribeca alumnus and a nominee for the John Cassavetes Award in 2022, Kenan continues to excel in independent filmmaking. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Media from The New School, where he developed a strong foundation in screenwriting, directing, and production.

Mehmet Gungoren is an independent producer based in Los Angeles with an impressive portfolio of work. He completed his B.A. in Theater, Film, and Television at UCLA and his M.F.A. in Film and TV Production at USC School of Cinematic Arts. Mehmet has co-produced notable projects such as Black Night (2022), directed by Ozcan Alper and supported by the Berlinale World Cinema Fund and CNC Aide aux cinémas du monde. He also co-produced A Mutual Understanding (2021), a short film directed by Abigail Prade, supported by CBK Rotterdam and CineSud. Additionally, Mehmet produced The Ball Method (2020), a short film directed by Dag Abebe, supported by the Alfred Sloan Foundation, and featured at the DGA Best African American Student Filmmakers, Pan African Film Festival, and BronzeLens Film Festival in 2020.
